Jen "Pepper"

Owner

Grease Diva Garage (GDG), founded by Jen Pepper in 2017, represents a groundbreaking initiative in the automotive industry. As a woman-owned and operated business, GDG is dedicated to empowering women to take control of their automotive experiences. The mission extends beyond mere education; it's about building confidence and fostering a sense of ownership among women when it comes to purchasing and managing vehicles.

Jen’s passion for the industry started her journey in the Denver Metro area and she is eager to share her Carr Care Classes, and offers all clients the option to talk directly to the mechanic who works on their car. Prior to 2021, Jen’s business was mobile, however in January 2022, the vision materialized into the location in Frederick, CO., an establishment offering full-service auto repair.

Since its inception, Grease Diva Garage has transcended local boundaries, becoming a prominent figure not only in the automotive business but also in the realm of women's empowerment nationally. By creating opportunities for women within the traditionally male-dominated automotive industry, GDG has sparked conversations, inspired change, and paved the way for a more inclusive and diverse future.

Shawn "Professor"

Shop Manager

Shawn “Professor” is a Master Certified Mechanic with 25 years in Automotive and 11 ASE certifications. He has experience with cars manufactured from 1915 -2020, so there is little Shawn hasn’t worked with in the industry. After completing his degree in Automotive Technology from Westwood College, he returned to Westwood as an instructor for 11 years and has taught over 1,000 students. Shawn is a unique combination of Master Mechanic and educator and looks forward to sharing his knowledge with you.

Zoe

Shop Assistant

Zoe is a Colorado native. She attends college in Nebraska, majoring in Psychology and Sociology where she is on track to become a Women's Soccer coach after completing her Master's degree. When she isn't in college she enjoys working as an integral part of the Diva Team as our shop assistant and hanging out with her cat, Bella.

Alyssa

Department Head

Alyssa has four years of experience in automotive; one year as and lube tech, and three years as a service writer. Alyssa enjoys working closely with our clients to ensure a welcoming environment and a smooth transition through the process of getting your car back on the road.

Alyssa was raised by a single mom who taught her the value of female empowerment and always encouraged her to follow her dreams. After graduating high school she joined the automotive industry in hopes of exploring a new path, and soon fell in love. However, she learned just as quickly how male-dominated the industry is and saw how females, including herself, seemed to have to work twice as hard for the same outcome as her male counterparts. Instead of being discouraged by this, she continued to push her career in an industry she was told she did not belong in. When she is not at Grease Diva Garage, she enjoys watching movies and being a member of the Colorado Jeep community.

Zach

Zach joined the team at Grease Diva Garage in January 2024. He graduated from Westwood College with an AA in Automotive Technology. His favorite part of working on cars is solving diagnosing electrical challenges. When he is not at Grease Diva Garage, he is busy working toward his degree in IT at Colorado State University.
