Grease Diva Garage is the woman-owned automotive repair shop geared for women. We offer general automotive repair, Vintage/Classic car repair and restoration along with a client education center. Our main focus is to educate and empower women through their cars.

Grease Diva Garage was founded in 2017 to provide an alternative to the traditional automotive shop. We are the shop where we want women to feel fully engaged and confident with their automotive repair experience.

As women, we often hate the automotive repair experience because we feel misunderstood, taken advantage of, and/or mistreated. Unfortunately, there is not much information or resources to help alleviate that uneasiness despite the fact that more than 60% of customers in the automotive industry are WOMEN and spend $150 Billion a year on automotive repairs. Diva is the place to go to become more educated, feel comfortable with your vehicle and be proactive in your auto repair experience.

Jen has 18 years of experience in business, and as the shop owner, has turned her obsession into her profession. She invites you and every woman to come in and talk with both herself and GDG's master mechanic, Shawn who is a unique combination of certified Master Mechanic and automotive instructor.

Grease Diva Garage was founded in 2017 to provide an alternative to the traditional automotive shop. A shop where women can feel comfortable coming in for automotive repair and empowered leaving with as little or as much knowledge about their car as they would like. The company functioned as a mobile mechanic from 2017- 2020 primarily serving Jefferson County, until opening the current location in Frederick, CO in January of 2021.

Jen and Shawn have staffed a Car Care Center that provides the opportunity for that great automotive experience you want and deserve!

About The Founder

Jen received her MBA from Colorado State University and had been in non-profit management for 18 years. She retired from non-profit in 2017 and since then has chosen to take her car obsession to a profession working as a mobile mechanic in the Arvada/Westminster area before opening her own automotive repair shop, vintage auto shop and automotive education center in Frederick, CO.

About Our Master Mechanic

Shawn “Professor” is a Master Certified Mechanic with 25 years in Automotive and 11 ASE certifications. He has experience with cars manufactured from 1915 -2020, so there is little Shawn hasn’t worked with in the industry. After completing his degree in Automotive Technology from Westwood College, he returned to Westwood as an instructor for 11 years and has taught over 1,000 students. Shawn is a unique combination of Master Mechanic and educator and looks forward to sharing his knowledge with you.

When we are not under the hood...

Jen and Shawn live in Arvada, CO have 4 children, and 6 fur babies. When they aren’t working to keep client cars running at top notch, you can find them enjoying all Colorado has to offer: Hiking, camping, fishing, 4 x 4, concerts at Red Rocks, and riding their 2003 Harley Davidson in a weekend poker run. They enjoy going to Colorado Rapids games and volunteering their time with local non profit organizations that support animals.

The Diva Rebuilt Program

We identify an eligible individual who we sponsor with a car and 25 hours of car maintenance education each year to give them the empowerment they need to be confident in auto ownership and repair.
